Google Voice now has an update available in the Android Market that brings searching to voice mail transcripts and text messages. Google Voice is now at version 0.4.2.8 and like all Google applications, it’s free. To use the search feature, open the Google Voice application and now when you press menu, you’ll see the “Search” button readily available.
*Note* After updating to version 0.4.2.8 you’ll need to open the application at least once as noted in the description of the application in the market.
