Grand Theft Auto Vice City makes an early appearance on the Play Store, not ready for Consumption

Sounds like Rockstar Games made a boo  boo today. Grand Theft Auto Vice City found its way to the Play Store this morning and a number of people managed to catch it and get it downloaded. That is great for them, as long as the validation went through. Shortly after the game was released Rockstar pulled it. Claiming the game wasn’t actually ready for consumption on the Play Store yet.

“We’re aware that some users have attempted to download Vice City: 10th Anniversary Edition from the Google Play Store and have experienced validation errors.

Just to be clear: the game is not available for Android devices just yet, and if you’re seeing it listed on the Store then this is an error, and you shouldn’t attempt to download it. We’ll keep you up to date and let you know as soon as the game is live and available to purchase.”

Not a good way to start off with a release that a lot of users have eagerly been waiting for. We have seen stranger things happen in the past though. The important thing to know is that it is close to finally being launched. I don’t about you guys, but I am pretty excited.
