It has been a long and winding road over the past year since Verizon launched their 4g LTE network. Today marks the one year anniversary for Big Red and their blazing mobile data transmission technology.
The initial deployment of the VZW 4G LTE network graced 39 major markets, including New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, and extensive development for the service was done at Purdue University.
On December 15, 2011, Verizon Wireless will be in 190 markets, lighting up more than 200 million people with high-speed mobile broadband connectivity.
