HBO says there is no talk or plans to talk with Netflix about streaming Content

OK, so this one might seem a little bit off topic, but since our wondrous devices can stream Netflix, it still fits. CEO of Netflix Reed Hastings teased that Netflix could partner with HBO during the company’s earning reports earlier. That definitely made a few people smile because of the amazing original programs that HBO creates. I know my wife has recently been hooked on True Blood. It would be a major perk for Netflix to be able to bring original HBO content to the streaming side of their service. That won’t be happening anytime soon though.

Says HBO: “We are not in discussions and have no plans to work with Netflix.”

Pretty straight to the point. While you can find some HBO comedy specials available for instant streaming, don’t expect much else to land from HBO anytime soon. I personally don’t subscribe to Netflix’s DVD service, but I have read that they do have a plethora of original HBO show content available by mail, if you are into that sort of thing.  If you already pay for HBO you might be able to use their HBO GO app found in the Play Store. Assuming your television provider is supported. Why can’t we all just get along and share?
