HoloMusic updates to Alpha 3, speedier and more features Added

There is something to be said about a developer that takes what they do seriously. When they are working to create a new application or make a current one better, updates in a timely fashion are key to customer satisfaction. Even if the app is free, you need to keep those free users happy. You never know when you might drop a paid app that you will want their support on. This is a basic concept that many developers don’t handle very well sometimes. Usually due to lack of time or other constraints. This doesn’t seem to be the case with HoloApps. They seem to update their apps on a regular basis, nearly every week. When they do, it isn’t just a ‘bug fix’ changelog listing. They do a lot of work and make the next update worth taking your time to install.

Many of you might remember HoloMusic. We showed it to you just 10 days ago. It is a holo themed music player with widget that adds in a great look and feel to your music player. It offered a lot in the last release. Today the developer has released another update to the application. Making it even better than it was in Alpha 2.  Here is the latest changelog for your viewing pleasure:

Alpha 3
Adds Playlist Adding
Theme Swap To A Blue Stripe Colour
Adds Fast Scrolling To Every Tabs
Replaces Dropbox Links In OTA Updates To Google Drive Links
Adds Hardware Acceleration To Every Area
Adds Gapless Playback
Fixes AOKP Support
Adds Widget Preview In App Drawer
Removes Additional Menu Button Key
Adds Rescan Mode To Settings For New Media Content Without Fuss
And More

Quite a few additions that many people were asking for have now been incorporated and seem to be working very well. You can’t snag this app in the Play Store though, you will need to head to the HoloApps thread at XDA to get the latest update. It is free of course,  so that should be enough to make you smile. One final side note, this application is built, designed and compatible with Android 4.0 only. Sorry to ruin your day if you are still stuck on Gingerbread or lower Android versions.
