HoloPad updates along side beautiful new music Player, HoloMusic

Some of you may have remembered a great little note taking application we shared a while back called HoloPad. It offered just enough with the just the right amount of themeing to it to make it a winner in our book. The developer behind HoloPad  just released a new update to that moves it to RC3. This is another release candidate update with a scheduled stable release for May 3rd. The update is available for Honeycomb 3.x and Ice Cream Sandwich 4.x devices only. Here’s whats new in this release –

Improved Design For Easier To Use UI Design
Smaller Line Width On Note List
Updated Widget Design
Major Bug Fixes Including The Widget Which Makes It Actually Usable
Removes The Lanscape Keyboard UI Combining It With The Tablet UX (If Its An Issue Tap The Full Screen Button)
Updated Graphics For XHDPI Displays (AKA Galaxy Nexus And Galaxy Note)
Updated Core Code For Improved Rendering
And More

One of the more requested additions was a useable widget. It seems the dev has fulfilled that request. Nice job. The widget is a 2×2 size variant that offers you a way to add new, open notes and view note in the preview window.

Along with a HoloPad update the developer has released another great new Holo themed application for us to enjoy. Meet HoloMusic. This new music app takes things to a new level in the way we can listen, see and buy our music. It offers tabbed navigation for Artists, Albums, Songs, and Playlists. The whole thing is styled and themed to match the rest of your beautiful ICS styled device. Giving you the cool blues and blacks that we love so much. In the settings you can fund a full DSPManager. Allowing you to enable bass boost, effects EQ presets and personal adjustments to make your songs sound even better.  You manipulate Shake Actions to change tracks, play, pause or shuffle. You also have the ability to let the app pause your music when you flip your device over.

There is a huge customization menu that gives you access to alter animations, status bar UI, long press actions, lockscreen controls and much more. If that isn’t enough to entice you to snag this free music player, the developer also included the ability to apply themes to the player. I took a quick look in the market, but don’t see any available just yet. Hopefully some awesome themers pick up the task and change things up for others to enjoy. HoloMusic also offers you four various widgets to use on your home screen. You have a 1×1, 3×1, 4×1 and 4×2 options.

Amazing Tabbed Design For Simple Navigation
Holographic UX From Android Design
