The update weighs in at 217MBs and moves the device to the much-needed and anticipated Honeycomb 3.2.1 software that it so desperately needed. They said it would be out before the end of the year and it looks like they just barely made that deadline. The update not only brings you Honeycomb bit also a great number of enhancements –

  • Notifications menu moved to the bottom right corner of the screen, on the System Bar.
  • The Action Bar–which can be accessed by touching the Plus Sign icon at the top right of the screen–is the key to contextual, changing menus that are controlled by each application.
  • Enhanced security including Sprint Data Link and 3LM

Fixes include:

  • Google video chat
  • Bluetooth capable in Airplane mode

The OTA is rolling out already and some of you might already have installed it. For the rest of you eagerly waiting, hit the Settings > System Updates > HTC Software Update > Check Now. There is no guarantee that it will pop up, but it never hurts to try. Other wise you can just wait it out knowing that it will appear sometime soon.

Anyone out there already get their update? If so, how is it performing? Hopefully it made a huge difference for you. Let us all know what you think.
