HP’s final TouchPad “Fire Sale” is going to land you $10, maybe $19 if you are Lucky

Many of you will remember the final fire sale that HP ran to clear out all of their HP TouchPads from their warehouses. They used they eBay store to offer up every last TouchPad they had. The response of people trying to snag one or a dozen before they were gone was huge. I know we tried to get in on the sale and it was a total failed attempt. Still, many others were fortunate enough to get an order in. Lucky for you guys.

Apparently there was an over charge in the shipping estimate. HP and eBay are so dedicated to your satisfaction that they are proactively giving back a $10 credit for each TouchPad you ordered. It is a really nice gesture on their part, even if you got a killer deal on a tablet. To top it all off, those that managed to voice their frustration with lag issues, error messages, lost orders and various other issues, eBay and PayPal play to take care of you. Offering another $9 to your PayPal account.

Due to an error in the calculation of Shipping & Handling fees for the HP TouchPad, you were charged an additional $10 in shipping fees for your order. We have recognized this error and HP’s eBay store will credit $10 to your PayPal account for each HP TouchPad you ordered. eBay and HP are also aware that in some instances, the shopping experience of HP’s eBay store was impacted by the overwhelming response to the HP Touchpad deal. eBay and HP are committed to delivering the best shopping experience possible on eBay and are providing you with an additional $9 credit to your PayPal account for each of your HP Touchpad orders.

So some of you might be getting $19 bucks added back to your PayPal account relatively soon. How nice huh? So check you balance and see if you got a little refund waiting for you to spend.
