HTC Amaze 4G and Sensation 4G confirmed to get ICS update by T-Mobile

Many of you have been wondering if your current device will get an Ice Cream Sandwich update any time soon without the need for hackery. You should all know by now that the Sensation 4G on T-Mobiles network has been mentioned in passing a few times in the past already. We know the international versions are already getting their dose of Sense 3.6 with ICS updates. Now we have official confirmation from T-Mobile regarding ICS for the Sensation. The HTC Amaze 4G on the other hand, was still up in the air a bit. Some recently posted information dug up by AndroidPolice proves the Amaze 4G will in fact be getting some icy goodness too. T-Mobile fails to offer any sort of timeline on when that update will start to hit handsets though. We are willing to bet it won’t be anytime before the HTC One S hits store shelves. After all, they want you to buy a new phone not love your current device. It is at least some good news for those of you that are constantly wondering. We will keep an eye out for when these updates finally go live.
