Hopefully this is a sign that HTC hasn’t abandoned its pre-HTC One phones yet: HTC has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 to the HTC Butterfly in Taiwan which includes the HTC One-launched Sense 5.0. Apparently the update was pushed in two parts, but looks to have ported many of the non-HTC One exclusive features over, including Blinkfeed.
Presumably this means that the HTC Droid DNA (the Butterfly’s twin) will also be receiving this update in the very near future, and perhaps this is a sign that the older phones like HTC One X+ and One X will also receive the updated UI quite soon. But how soon, we’ll just have to see.
