Dummy units of the popular HTC Desire and the newcomer, the HTC Bee have started to arrive at Alltel locations and we could expect a launch in the next couple of weeks. Alltel has given the HTC Desire a name change as it will launching as the HTC Spitfire (um…what?).
The HTC Bee is a new device which shows a distinct resemblance to the small HTC Aria which is currently available of AT&T’s network. These devices have yet to be official, bt being that these dummy units are arriving, we should start learning more really soon.
Features of the HTC Bee include:

- QVGAÂ touchscreen
- 528 MHz Qualcomm processor
- 386 MB of RAM
- 5-megapixel camera
Features of the HTC Desire aka HTC Spitfire include:
- Android 2.2
- 1GHz processor
- 3.7″ display with 480 X 800 WVGA resolution
- 512MB ROM
- 576 MB RAM
