With the launch of the HTC EVO 3D last week a few questions were left unanswered. While we knew for sure that Sprint was getting this phone the rumors of a GSM version still remained and despite the lack of validity pictures and leaked information still remained. After much anticipation this EVO 3D variant was finally announced Monday by HTC and is slated for release in Europe sometime in July. That being said we’re now seeing a GSM version of the EVO 3D rolling through the FCC for evaluation. While it’s hard to say where this phone is going it’s likely that this is simply the European version undergoing finishing touching for its imminent launch. However, given the recent unpredictability of HTC it’s possible we could see this thing hit another carrier in North America. Time will tell.
