HTC Evo 4G Running CM6 with HID Support

Thanks to Cyanogen, we can see Sprint’s HTC Evo 4G running CM6 utilizing Bluetooth HID support. With the many unique features of the HTC Evo, Cyanogen wants to utilize all of these features in CM6. The CyanogenMod team is making sure that both cameras are functional and can be switched. Another goal of the HTC Evo is to have Bluetooth HID support running stable. HID support allows you to control your device using your mouse and keyboard. Check out the video:

What makes this more interesting is that the HID support will not be limited to the 4.3″ display of the Evo, as Cyanogen and his team are working on utilizing the HDMI OUT port on the device so you can see everything you’re doing on your TV.

HTC Evo users have a lot to look forward to with the help of the Cyanogen team and now that 3 members of the dedicated team own Evo’s, maybe we can see a stable release soon. Keep in mind, “good things come to those who wait.”
