HTC Hero users have been told time and time again, that they would get Android 2.1 and every time they have been let down, until today that is. The word is spreading, even screenshots, going around of the HTC Hero in the UK and around Europe receiving OTA updates today.
Users who have received the updates so far are reporting that this OTA update is not performing a full data wipe like the previous 1.5 update did.
So, Hero users, enjoy your taste of Éclair!
