Today has been somewhat exciting on the Android front. Google buys Motorola, OEMs are supportive, Andy Rubin states that the Nexus line will still be shared among other manufacturers. Not a bad way to start out a Monday. It looks like a photo leak has hit the web today as well. The HTC Holiday has now seen some better than blurry cam shot publicity.
This little gem was, according to the story, located on Craigslist after being found broken in the street. It appears that everything is up and running just fine, just the external glass is pretty cracked up. Take a quick look at some of the photos.
-4.5″ Screen
-960×540 Pixel
-1.2 Ghz Dualcore Prozessor (Qualcomm)
-1 Gb Ram
-8Mp Cam + 1.3Mp Front Cam
-Android 2.3.4 + Sense
It sounds pretty darn good so far. Many of you eagle eyed readers will notice that the bootloader says S-OFF, don’t get to excited. Even though HTC is working towards unlocking the bootloaders on its devices, doesn’t mean this one will ship that way. I have a feeling they will push that service through HTCDev.com. This little slip into the public eye is most likely running an Engineering version currently for testing purposes.
I only have two questions at this point; When will this be launching and are users ready for 4.5″ screen? Another .5 inches doesn’t seem like all that much when you are reading about it, but it can certainly take up an entire pocket with out trying.
