HTC One Officially Announced! Here are the Specs

HTCone

Information keeps pouring from the sites that were lucky enough to go to the event. First off, we got the leaked official render of the HTC One. Looks spot on to the first render that we saw when it had that much cooler name, the M7. Now Mr. Chou has come to the stage and has officially announced the new device. Here is what it is rocking:

  • 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quadcore processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage
  • 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3mm body (tapering to 5mm at the edges) CNC’d from a solid slab of specially formulated aluminum alloy
  • 4-megapixel camera on the back
  • 2.1-megapixels on the front with an 88-degree wide-angle lens
  • 4.7-inch 1080p Full HD LCD3 display
  • 25GB of free Dropbox storage
  • Sense 5
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Android 4.2 coming shortly

Sounds awesome, heh? The One will be due in stores some time in March we are hearing. Have not gotten an exact day quite yet. Some have tweeted me that they already got to play with the new device, and they are saying the screen is GLORIOUS. Of course people are hating the fact that there is no micro-SD slot and no removable battery. I am telling you it really is not a big deal since I have been dealing with that the past year with my One S. So let us know what you guys think about the One, and let us know if you are going to get one.
