HTC scrapped the idea of continuing to update their HTC One S phones, simply because of the different variants, and just because its HTC. Well it seems a tweet by @LlabTooFeR has shined some light on this madness. Seems that the S4 version HTC One S will in fact receive Android 4.2.2, as well as Sense 5. He mentions that there is now word on the C2 variant, so anyone with that international version will be crap out of luck on getting to Android 4.2.2.
Now, this is just a tweet from a pretty reliable source. Nothing has been mentioned by HTC, so One S brothers and sisters, do not get too excited because it still mind end up not happening. Once we receive confirmation, we will let you guys know.
