HTC One on your device wishlist? Did you sign-up for the $100 trade in option from HTC? Well it looks like a new leak for a pre-order time frame has surfaced from the boys over at Engadget. They have picked up word that the HTC One will be up for pre-sale in
AT&T stores on April 4th, and available for pre-order online April 4th. Price wise, the leak indicates a $249.99 pocket book smasher for the 32GB model. The exclusive 64Gb model is said to be set at $299.99, but a date isn’t mentioned yet.
There isn’t any official statement from AT&T about this news, at least not yet. We expect it to go official very soon though if those dates pan out to be correct. It would have been nice to see the price around $199.99 though. After all, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is said to be hitting AT&T for $249.99 also. Could be an interesting set of sales numbers to keep an eye on.
With T-Mobile going rogue and going all uncarrier, it might put customers in a bit of conundrum this year. With T-Mobile offering the HTC One for $99.99 down and plans at $50, $249.99 sounds steep. Not to mention the
free car kit if you sign up for the HTC One online through T-Mobile. The competitive device pricing and the new carrier battle that is underway is going to make for some interesting changes in power I think.
