The guys over at Shipped ROMS received an email with some not so good news this afternoon. It seems HTC does not like what they are doing there and has ordered them to cease and desist. Shipped Roms are known for hosting hacked ROM’s on their website which started off mainly HTC devices and has spread to most of Blackbery devices as well.
Android hackers make a lot of the Android community allowing most devices perks that are currently not available to their local device, as well as more customization. Judging by the letter, HTC is more upset that they are illegally using copyrighted artwork from HTC. I’m sure we can all agree that HTC can stop a website, but they are not going to stop Android hackers everywhere.
