We have keeping you up to date with the work @eugene373 has been doing with the HTC Sensation and gaining perma-temp root. He has done an amazing job getting it to the point he has. Now another player has stepped up to the game and made that annoying S-ONÂ display what we all want S-OFF.
The teams behind Unrevoked and alpharevx have pieced everything together to give all access to what this device can really do. What does this mean for your guys? Well, unlocked bootloaders means, CWM, custom ROMS, hacks and all that goes with a rooted device. We should start seeing a plethora of custom ROMs rolling out very shortly. They haven’t official released any information on how to get this rolling on your device, at least none that I could find, which is to be expected. We don’t need people ruining their phones just yet.
I can’t wait to see what the devs can do with this device now that it is unlocked. Should be pretty amazing. Almost makes me want to go buy one now.
