HTC Shows a Strong First Quarter After Suffering in 2011

I got a little worried at the end of last year when I saw that HTC was showing some pretty weak numbers. I love HTC simply because I have only had two personally owned HTC Android devices in my life time, the G1 that started it all and the sequel the G2. G1 worked great the entire time I had it no matter how much I hacked it and flashed it, and my G2 is still a beast. With HTC recently announcing the new HTC One phones, it is time for HTC to climb out of the hole they were in.

HTC’s CEO Peter Chou vows that HTC’s low revue numbers in 2011 will not happen in 2012. With the revamped Sense 4.0 officially announced, along with the “One series phones, HTC has climbed up 22.76% in February from January. Overall HTC is down 36.79% from last year which sounds abysmal, but rising up in the month of February after Sense 4.0 and the One series phones were announced, is definitely showing new light for HTC. Q2 should see some good numbers for when the One series phones are released into the wild.

So who is planning on getting an HTC One phone when they come out? I will be all over the HTC One X if it hits T-Mobile.
