You may remember posts rolling out last week regarding the HTC Thunderbolt receiving an update. A tweet from VZWSupport has announced the availability of this update and updates start day.
This update will fix a few issues Thunderbolt users have been experiencing including SMS and MMS storage, 3G data connectivity,improved GPS accuracy, and a slew of application additions and enhancements geared towards added stability. As stated in the tweet this update will be selective as it makes it way to select groups of owners eventually making it to everyone. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t recieve it today, as it may take a while.
