HTC is expected to ship 7-8 million devices in Q3 followed by 8-10 million in Q4 and while these devices include Android and Windows Mobile, HTC is clearly setting their sights on being the top handset manufacturer in the world.
HTC has their hands full as they are gearing up to launch devices like the G2, MyTouch HD, Desire HD and Desire Z. They are going to be spitting out Windows 7-based devices as well. With this forecast, HTC will rank fourth among the top manufacturers like Nokia, RIM and Apple.
