Till now, Huawei‘s contribution to the smartwatch market has only included some fitness-oriented devices like the TalkBand B1, but if these leaked ads are to be believed, the Huawei smartwatch that is able to be announced at MWC 2015, apparently called the Huawei Watch, could be a more conventional form factor and actually pretty gorgeous.
As you can see in the snapshot above, the tagline of the new Huawei Watch is “Timeless design. Smart within”. The design of the device is probably one of the most similar to a ‘normal’ watch that we have seen, alongside the Moto 360, but Huawei appears to have quite a few different watch bands and watch designs to keep things customizable too.
If we take a closer look at the ad, you’ll see that Huawei is marketing the Huawei Watch (we really hope this isn’t the final name) as an Android Wear device, but we’ll have to wait and see if Huawei has done any customizing of this wearable experience. Given that Huawei is also marketing the craftmanship of its new smartwatch, we’d suspect that it’s not going to be a cheap device either, but we’ll reserve judgement till the time comes.
