After writing an article about the original Samsung Galaxy S phones getting an ICS port, now it looks like some XDA members have been working to get it on a Sony Xperia phone. Oh we knew it was coming. It’s like these developers are getting which phones to port over the new OS by drawing out of a hat. Someone’s going to end up getting your phone, unless you haven’t upgraded in forever and are still rocking a G1 or original MyTouch. But yet there are very bold and dedicated developers that will take that task.
Now in the video below, the developer shows off how he successfully ported ICS to a Sony Xperia X10 phone. Of course still in the very early stages so a lot of the normal bugs are there. We can add Sony Xperia phones to the list of getting sooner than later ports of ICS we all are anxious about.
