Over the last few weeks, Moto X news has been heating up again with leaked photos of the customizable front and back cases for the new Motorola flagship, as well as random sneak photos of the phone itself. Cases are all well and good, but we’ve been waiting to see one in the wild for some time now. We might have gotten the chance to see the Moto X at D11 earlier this year if Motorola CEO, Dennis Woodside, hadn’t been such a prude and shown us the Moto X that was inside his pocket, but it turns out it was up to a higher power to show it off in public. Yes, we’re talking about Eric Schmidt, who has been spotted using what looks a lot like the not-quite-released Moto X, opting for the very chic white case it appears.
Hopefully this is a vote of confidence from the Google CEO himself, who could easily have been using a Nexus 5 for all we know. And with MotorGoogle reportedly ready to spend up to 500 million dollars in marketing, you get the sense that Motorola and Google is pushing very hard to make the Moto X the ultimate flagship. For their sakes, I really hope those reported specs are wrong…
Think it means anything that Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, himself is using a Moto X phone? Let us know what you think in the comments.
