People who have been struggling with trying to manage multiple Instagram accounts on Android can now rest easy: Instagram for Android now supports multiple accounts. There are reports coming in that v7.12.0 is rolling out to some devices now and with it is coming multiple account support – from the looks of it, all you’ll need to do is log in with your extra accounts and you’ll be able to toggle which account you’re using in the top left of the profile tab.
This is actually a pretty huge deal as almost every other social media app allows for multiple accounts – it’s definitely going to help people in the media and press as often they have to manage a personal account as well as a business one. Presumably this update is going to take some time to reach everybody so don’t panic if you don’t have the update after reading this post – you’ll want to keep an eye on the Play Store page just in case though:
