Tis the season for Jelly Bean. Well, at least on various carriers and international locals. The
HTC One X on Telus in Canada has started to pick their update up. Now we see that
Samsung Galaxy S II owners in Spain are getting some
Jelly Bean treatment as well. That would be the unlocked version with the home key. The update is slowly but surely hitting device in Spain in good old OTA fashion. Since it is a Samsung device though, you can always pull the trigger and hook it to a PC and use Kies. Not our favorite option either, but it beats waiting.
The update brings in a lot of the look and feel of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the wonders of the nature UI. Heck, they even brought in the motion gestures that us S III owners love so much. users should also see some speed improvements thanks to Project Butter and the super nifty pop-up video player that we know you have drooled over for a while now. Oh, ya, Google Now also.
You can prompt the device for the update, but again, if you hate to wait, Kies should secure your update for you now.
