LG is expected to release its 2015 flagship sometime soon, but as with most devices prior to release, it’s allegedly been spotted. The device in question, the LG-H818, was spotted on the html5test site running a benchmark, performing quite nicely, but crucially listing Android 5.1 as its operating system. Which begs the question: Is the LG-H818 the LG G4? While the benchmark itself isn’t concrete evidence regarding what device it could be, this isn’t the first time a device with the LG-H818 model name has been spotted.
Just a few weeks ago, the User Agent profile for a LG-H818 was also spotted, and the primary takeaway from that is that the LG-H818 has a Quad HD screen, as indicated by the 1440×2560 resolution. Again, this isn’t perfectly concrete, but sources have said that the LG-H818 is the Asian variant of the LG G4, and we’ve all been expecting LG to maintain the Quad HD display that debuted on the LG G3.
