Jelly Bean Hits the Original Motorola Droid Just Because it Can

Anytime you think of Android’s beginning, you think about the T-Mobile G1 and the Original Motorola Droid. The G1 was the one that started it all, but the Moto Droid is what made Android more commercial. People started flocking over to Android once it came out, so I guess we can thank Motorola for that, and not for MotoBlur. I always hated it when people would claim they had the first Droid phone and pull it from their pocket. I would quickly have to intervene on their ego trip and bust out grandpa G1 and show them all the features of a rooted stock Android phone. Those were the days.

Well a couple weeks ago we caught a video showing Jelly Bean rocking on the antique G1, and it as only a matter of time before the Moto Droid would see some chewy candy as well. XDA developer kfazz has brought JB to the first “Droid” just for the bragging rights. No one is still rocking this phone right? Well if you are, try out some Jelly Bean. Check out the video and thread down below. I am curious if any of you guys are still rocking this phone. Let us know in the comments below.
