Kindle Fire, meet MIUI, lets all be Friends

As much as one may love the Kindle Fire, our love for it is always restricted by what Amazon does with the software. We all knew the Kindle Fire would get hacked and modded nearly immediately after launch. The device already has seen some Ice Cream Sandwich porting done, CM7 and we know that MIUI is usually right on the heels of the CM team with device support. That day has come and MIUI now finds it way to the $200 tablet.

Senior XDA member leech2082 has just released a port of MIUI to the Fire with a surprisingly small amount of issues for a first release. Generally first ports are plagued with issues to resolve and drastically reduce your devices ability to operate. So far the only things that aren’t working yet are MIUI Themes and Video. If those are aspects you can live without for a short period of time, then you should check it out at leech2082’s XDA thread.

I am curious though if the theme app FC’s or if the themes just don’t show up right. Cause if it is the later of the two I would like to see if someone has tested the Samsung Galaxy Tab MIUI themes located in XDA, like this ONE.
