Android 4.4 KitKat gave us all kinds of new goodies to the Android experience. One feature being that we can now have super quick access to Google Now. Many of you probably already tried out the Google Experience Launcher that was pulled from Android 4.4, but there was one downside. You could not customize all that much, and even though Nova and Apex Launchers updated to to fit with KitKat, the Google Now screen was not implemented. Sadly, KitKat Launcher+ doesn’t have it either, but here is what you do get:
Screen
• Hide the Google Search Bar
• Change grid size
• Enable a set amount of screens (do not automatically remove empty screens)
Drawer
• Change grid size
Behavior
• Automatically center home screen
• Configure home button behavior
Advanced
• Backup and Restore
• Access to App Ops to manage app permissions
Other
• Optimized filesize
So if you feel like trying out a more customizable Android 4.4 KitKat experience, hit the link below to go download it. It is free in the Play Store, and as far as I know, it should work on most versions of Android. So get it onto your device and let us know how you like it.
