Talk about a tease. OnePlus has openly communicated that it is working on a successor to the brilliant OnePlus One smartphone, the OnePlus Two, and they have previously gone on the record to say that it is going to be released in Q3 2015. Even so, that still hasn’t stopped some leaked images of what appear to be OnePlus packaging. Presumably the fear of reprimand is so great that the leaker has taken pictures only of the box’s corners with the OnePlus logo adorning them, but unfortunately it’s impossible to tell what the box is for from what we have here – it might not even be a smartphone.
Even so, presumably OnePlus is working on quite a lot behind the scenes after a strong showing last year with its maiden smartphone. There is plenty of expectation on this next device and if it’s anything shy of great value for powerful hardware, we’re likely to see some kind of outcry. In the meantime, all we can do is stare at these pictures and wonder if we’re actually looking at the OnePlus Two until the device is actually announced.
What do you think about this OnePlus packaging – is it the real deal? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
