Leisure Suit Larry is making a come back, headed to Android in full HD Glory

Everyone that has ever owned a PC or other various gaming consoles, remembers Leisure Suit Larry. The half balding oddball guy whose whole mission in life is to get the girls. Yes, that is plural for a reason. It is one of the single greatest, and some what degrading, game ever made. That doesn’t mean it is any less fun. How many people play the Grand Theft Auto series? Seriously, we like games that we will never be able to do in real life.

ReplayGames has just announced that they have secured the rights to the whole Leisure Suite Larry franchise. They are starting work on  remaking the original version and have plans to bring them back in their full glory across multiple platforms, including Android. Bringing back Larry is sure to be a huge success.

The first project in line is an HD re-mastered version of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. Aimed to port to every single platform imaginable. If all goes well when it is launched, they will move one by one through the next 6 titles in the line up. Offer a total of 7 remakes of the original classics back to the world.

We most likely won’t be seeing this title anytime soon though. It is expected to hit the ground running sometime in early 2012. We will definitely be keeping an eye out for it on our end. I am so ready for a little Larry on my Android device.
