Yesterday we saw the G2x vanish from T-Mobile’s site which instantly stirred up rumors regarding quality control and the issues the many owners have been experiencing. These rumors were soon squashed when T-Mobile stated that the pull was due to lack of inventory. Despite the mix up, there’s still a slew of problems with the G2x in it’s current state.
In regards to the problems, whispers heard from the two companies mention an update in the works which is expected to fix “performance issues” currently plaguing the device. While this is great from the users only experience software based issues, there’s still quite a few people experiencing physical issues such as light leaks. These problems cannot be fixed with a simple software update.
Given the tremendous support T-Mobile provides to their customers, it’s safe to say that all the problems will be addressed given time. The question is, how much?
