LG invites everyone to announcement of the LG G4 on April 28th, teases new camera and leather
By now, the hype from MWC is well an truly over and with the global launch of the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6 imminent, all eyes have turned to the next major flagship release on the calendar – the LG G4. LG‘s next entry is expected to be every bit as impressive as its predecessor, and LG has just confirmed that the LG G4 will be taking center stage at its event on April 28th in a trailer released today. Check it out below:
The key takeaway from the trailer is that the LG G4 is going to have an improved camera sensor with a lens with a f-stop of f1.8, improving on the f2.0 available in the LG G3. In layman terms, this should allow the camera to take in more light before taking your photos, but whether this improves the overall quality of photos is another question entirely. The other thing to mention is that the closing part of the trailer appeared to show a leather-like material with the LG G4 logo burned into it, which seems to suggest that LG may be opting for a leather back cover which is a bit different to its last few flagships. No doubt LG will be continuing to drop hints as we approach the 28th.
