LG just might have something worth taking a look at too. It is being dubbed the LG Optimus G currently, but that will probably change. The device is said to be sporting  4.7-inch IPS True HD Display, a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera Android 4.0 with 4G LTE connectivity in tow. As for the processor, the specific brand wasn’t mentioned. LG has worked with Tegra in the past, but also Qualcomm. Rumor pegs it for the new Qualcomm S4 quad-core chip though. This could be the first quad-core device to land stateside with 4G LTE support. LG did it first with dual-core, too bad the phone that it came with wasn’t all that incredible.
Hopefully LG will be showing this monster off at IFA this year. If not, then maybe the ‘G’ in the name is code for Google and this is their Nexus device. Ya, that might be a little far-fetched. Plus they would need Jelly Bean on there to be a contender.
So lets leave the discussion up to you guys. Could LG finally have a real winner on their hands? Will anyone take notice after so many past issues?
