We had a chance to play with the LG Optimus 2X our selves during CES. Unfortunately when we attempted to run the quadrant standard application we were unable to get any results. The explanation at the time had to do with the device sporting the Tegra 2 chipset and the application didn’t support dual core processing yet. Fair enough, it is a viable and believable answer. Looks like that issue has since been resolved though, take a look at where this monstrous super phone is sitting at on a stock build.
We all know that the Quadrant Benchmark Standard is not extremely reliable as far as true speeds. We have seen some phones pulling well over 3000 before. What helps this to stand out, in my opinion, is the fact that this is still a stock build from LG and is pulling in 2391. Which makes it a little more believable. Either way, this device is still beautiful, fast and I want one like, yesterday.
Anyone else out there starting to drool over this device yet?
