LG has been planning a follow-up to its most novel device of 2013, the LG G Flex, for some time now, and while several alleged release dates have come and gone, no device has surfaced yet. Fortunately, it appears rumours regarding this device aren’t dead yet, and its rumoured that the LG will announce the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015 which begins next week in Las Vegas. The rumour goes on to suggest that the G Flex 2 will be getting a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor which has LTE-A capability, which would make it the second device known to have Qualcomm’s latest crown jewel.
The report is pretty light on details regarding the rest of the G FLex 2’s specifications, but from previous rumours we’ve heard suggestions that the device will be smaller than the original G Flex, which stood proudly with a screen-size of 6-inches, and will likely upgrade the screen resolution to 1080p from 720p. We’d also expect that the device will be available globally, as the first G Flex was, though we can hope that the G Flex 2Â isn’t as prohibitively priced as its predecessor.
