Looking for some free music? Google can help with Magnifier

Last week Google announced its new music blog style website, Magnifier. Offering weekly updates to some of the Google Music teams favorites and helping you too discover new music that you can actually have and not have to steal. Today I went back to revisit the site and see what other goodies it had to offer. Along with the main tabs at the top, there is quite a bit more to the site then most realized. One of the sections that I found is the Free Song Archive. This is where the Google Music guys have archived their favorite songs, separated into various categories, making it easy to find your style and genre.

It is a very handy little resource. Having free access to songs like Chop Suey! by System of a Down and Cherry Pie by Warrant was a nice surprise. It helped me to remember some of the bands and artists I miss listening too. If you haven’t check out the latest addition to Google services, pop on over to Magnifier and check it out. Everything is free and can be instantly added to your Google Music account. Be sure to let us know what other great music you find buried in the site.
