This year’s Magic: The Gathering game, Magic 2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers, will be getting an expansion on September 18th as announced today. The expansion will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, Steam (PC), PlayStation Network, iOS and of course, Android. If you’re lucky enough to be going to PAX Prime this week, you’ll also be able to get an exclusive first look at the expansion at the Magic booth.
The expansion will bring to the game 5 new decks (with a total of 280 cards to unlock), new single-player levels and challenges as well as a whole host of additional add-ons like portraits. For a game that has been refreshed every year, it’s great to see that the support and extending of the game continues to happen.
