Marvel tries again with 700 free comic Issues

About a month ago Marvel pushed out a promo that offered over 700 comic book issues to the world for free. We saw the story, but quickly learned that the massive flood of takers killed any ones chance of actually getting any of them. Sure, we bet some of you did, but the number of irritated fans easily out weighed the ones that were fortunate enough to sneak in. Like anything that people really want, the demand for free comics put a huge strain on the servers and they were forced to shut the deal down. Thankfully, they are trying it again, this time with a more streamlined approach.

It is simple to get started, but don’t expect to be reading issue #1 of all your favorite comics today. First thing you need to do is sign up between now and April 9th by 11:59 p.m. ET. Then, sit back and wait for an email to hit your inbox sometime after Thursday the 11th. Marvel will roll out the invites into the FREE #1 issues over a period of time. They don’t mention how long it will take, but we can assume that it will depend on the number of registrations they receive. So you could see it Thursday, or you could see a few weeks later.

Considering that a large number of digital copies of Marvel comics come in at $1.99 it is almost a no brainer to take part in the offer. Saving your self something like $1,400 is a pretty big savings. To bad you couldn’t transfer it to a complete collection of your favorite series. Oh well, we know you guys will get yourself everything you want out of this offer as long as you hurry.
