With all the new tablets being announced and talked about (with all their quad-core organs in them) I almost forget that smartphones, or shall I say super-smartphones, are going to be sporting similar processors. With the long anticipated Transformer Prime coming out, Asus has a smartphone that will not disappoint.
Meet the Asus PadFone. A phone that will be rocking a Tegra 3 processor under its belt, and will be equipped with its very own 10.1 touchscreen dock, to make it just that much better. The PadFone was announced at Computex 2011 in Taipai, and is sporting a 4.3 inch display to stare back at you, as you gaze into it, with drool dripping down your chin. The specs of the phone have not been released just yet, but it has been told it will ship with the “latest version” of the OS. That means that tasty Ice Cream Sandwich will be powered by that Tegra 3. Sounds delicious. The touchscreen dock will also be sporting its own battery, so this phone is sounding like it is going to be a beast and take on 2012 by storm.
