The Android 4.2 feature of streaming any content from your device to a TV (not just videos or pictures) that we briefly mentioned will actually be Miracast. Miracast was announced in late July and was first adopted by Nvidia with their Tegra 3 chips. Well, TI and Qualcomm have come aboard since then and Miracast will be a supported feature on Android 4.2, making its first debut on Android. Miracast is similar to Samsung’s AllShare Play except it will require a unique HDMI adapter or native support for it to work with a TV. Speaking about native support, all LG TVs will have Miracast built in starting in 2013. This looks pretty badass, what do you think?
