There are so many themes out there to choose from when it comes to MIUI. Some are better looking than others, some catch you off guard and some are just plain amazing. That is how I felt when I say this Katrina theme by Wayne Rui. I glanced at it and kept moving on to find something to bring to the table and share with you guys, but I kept going back to this one. The icons look great, but that isn’t what kept pulling me back for a second look. The lockscreen is what warranted another gander. It may seem plain and simple at first glance, but the descriptions that are labeled with it are what make it unique.
The silk ribbon that you see dangling from the top left corner of the device sways with the motion of your phone. The glowing lights that you floating up from the time are in sync with the clock and the changing time. There isn’t anything else special about it though. Drag down the clock to unlock. I still think the attention to the small details of the lockscreen and the design of the application icons give this theme that little something extra.
