One of the greatest things about MIUI is how easy it is to theme your device to your liking. Last night I spent about an hour messing around with various images and photos I had already on my phone to set as lock screen wallpapers. They all worked just fine, with the exception of some. I found it rather irritating to have to use the editor to sect what part of the image to set as the lock screen. Not only did it miss part of the image I wanted to include, but often times it lowered the resolution and just looked plain stupid.
That is how we got to where we are today. I needed to find some lock screen images that were made specifically for the lock screen. Â Take a look at just a small preview –
I love the scraggly squirrel. All 10 lock screen wallpapers and one regular wallpaper are bundled up in a simple zip. To utilize them on your MIUI lock screen is super simple. Just drop the images to your SD card under MIUI/Wallpapers. You will then find them in your list of available images to use as a lockscreen wallpaper. You can also put them in a completely separate folder like I did labeled ‘Lock Screens’. To find them in the Theme app, selects ‘customize’ – ‘Lockscreen Wallpaper’ –  ‘Others’ – Lockscreen Gallery’ and find your folder to view them.
Which ever way you choose to go, they are pretty slick-looking lock screen wallpapers and you can’t beat free. You can find the download link below to get your hands on these extra special beauties.
