More credence to Droid DNA by HTC leaks out, looking at early December Release

Did you guys clean up all the drool that was sure to drip down after reading all the goodness that was packed into the HTC J Butterfly? You know, the Japanese HTC device that was sporting a quad-core processor, a 5-inch display and pushing 1080p resolution? We still sometimes revisit that moment in our lives. We caught a little information on Halloween that showed some Verizon documents that listed a device known as the Droid DNA. All signs have pointed to this being the U.S. friendly version of the J Butterfly. Complete with Sense and a more traditional Verizon style of look.

That crazy little twitter account, @evleaks, put out a little bit of information this morning for everyone to start talking over. It seemingly confirms the HTC Droid DNA name with a press image and all. Sporting that all-knowing, and sometimes scary, Droid Eye looming on the screen. All the tweet says is ‘HTC Droid DNA (ADR6435 Deluxe) for Verizon – early December.’ That would be a good time to push this hardcore spec’d device out for consumers with Christmas just around the corner.

Is it enough to keep you from snagging a Samsung Galaxy Note II though? Does the added screen resolution push you towards the DNA? HTC hasn’t had a very good run lately and really needs one heck of a device to get back in competition. The DNA could be that device for them, but I am so over all of Verizon’s devices being called “Droid” something. Aren’t you?
