More from Google: Movies and Magazines hit Canada and various other Countries

It looks like Google put a few more little nuggets of goodness in their release. Movie purchasing is headed to Canada, the U.K., France, Spain and Australia today too. We went and checked out the Play Store to see if there was an update to the app yet that reflected those additions, but it wasn’t there on our end yet. That doesn’t mean it isn’t available though.

Earlier this year we expanded our service beyond movie rentals and now you can purchase movies and build a library of your favorites in Google Play. Today we’re bringing movie purchasing to more countries – Canada, the U.K., France, Spain and Australia.

We take a queue from the Magazine side of things. Inside that enormously large release, Google announced that they are now partners with Time, Inc. They bring magazines like TIME, PEOPLE and InStyle out to to the public. While the Magazine app also doesn’t have a physical update in the Play Store, it is apparent that those in Canada now have some access. This is seemingly confirmed by a reader of AndroidPolice.

So how about the movie aspect of it.? Anyone in the mentioned countries above see access to purchase movies yet?
