I guess I missed the other release on the HTC developer site for the Google I/O device. Got yourself one of these bad boys, then head over and download the image from HTC. It also read on Androd and Me that the images where accidentally signed with test keys and they need to be installed with a recovery image that was also created with the test keys. This includes Cyanogen Recovery Image 1.4.
These images are for developers and testers to get a feel for the new Android 1.6 (donut) release and not really recommended for the regular user.
