More HTC Endeavor C2 a.k.a. HTC One X+ info spills out, could make October Release

Quite  few people were pretty sad to hear that T-Mobile was getting the One s instead of the One X. Similar devices sans screen size and such. That doesn’t mean T-Mobile doesn’t have something bigger and better planned though. We have caught wind of the HTC One X+ in the past. First as a listing as the HTC Era 42 in T-Mobile USA’s system, then as the HTC PM63100. Now Stuff Magazine has another name for us to watch out for, the HTC Endeavor C2. This comes from a supposed trusted mole on the inside, and we will take their word on that.

The insider confirms the previous specs of a quad-core 1.7GHz processor, but doesn’t detail that it is the Tegra 3+. After seeing the Nenamark scores showing as such we are certain that is what will be inside. An improved battery over the other One series devices and sporting a new color option. The One X+ is also supposed to come with ClearVoice to improve call quality and be the first device to run an unannounced HTC Watch 2 application. If you don’t own a HTC device, HTC Watch is their video-on-demand style streaming service.

Vague pricing for UK networks places it at £5 over the monthly cost of the current One X on the market overseas and is rumored to hit shelves by October 1st. That lines up with the leaked internal photo from T-Mobile which placed the Era 42 at the end of September.

There still is no leak to lead us to believe that the One X+ will be running ICS or Jelly Bean, or if it will be the first to sport Sense 4.1.  We can’t imagine HTC building something quite as ridiculous as this without putting the best software out on it. Of course, manufacturers are good at making mistakes. Time will tell what this develops into. As we get closer to October there should be plenty of info floating around.
